hello everybody,
we made a videoclip for “i was born” from our self titled album.
the yeahhproduction crew did an awesome job on that one!!
the clip will premiere next saturday night (4th of october) on musicnight on SF2 (around midnight…. i guess).
after that, you will find the clip here and on our myspace site and you’ll be able to vote for it on some music shows. more informatio will follow.

keep on giving us ideas about what song we should cover! well i know usually you go to a show to see the band play their own songs. that’s the way it should be and that’s the way it will be, but nevertheless sometimes it is cool to see bands covering songs of bands in their very special way. just like the hellacopters! they recently released an album full of covers. ryan adams covers wonderwall and gets to go on tour with oasis years after he initially played that cover for the first time. the cardigans love black sabbath and that’s why they are (were) covering them, and so on. what if snitch would cover hotwatermusic or social distortion or turbonegro? what if snitch would cover cheap trick, jimmy hendrix or ike turner? what if snitch would cover greenday, bryan adams or p.diddy? well, however, it can be a lot of fun and this is why i ask you once again to submit your “requests” or your ideas.
the reason why i (try to) write in english is simple, as some friends can not speak/read german (or it aint at least not their native language) and i am too lazy to translate english into german or french (which would look horrible!), i keep continuing writing in english, if you don’t mind. and yes, there might be a 10000 mistakes, I am still learning too!

but somehow a sad one too, ‘cause tonight is the last time we’ll see the hellacopters live in zurich! (well at least if they don’t reunite…)
anyway, the other good thing about today is, that we visited VANS and all i have to say is that you really have to check out the new stuff! it’s awesome and just like the new stuff, the whole crew’s awesome and they treated us very gently over the past, so this is why they deserve some credits here!
I know this smells like some kind of publicity-whats-o-ever, but hey, it might be publicity (intended by ourselves!), but what’s wrong with that? it’s a fact that they produce the coolest shoes on earth since 1966!
by the way… jan, you’re driving a badassmothafuckin’ oldie! if we go big and earn a lot of money, we’ll be knocking on your garage’s door!
yeah, we’re really happy about our new bandroom! it turns out to be a jewel in the heart of the city! i’m definately sick of being sick and actually I should be writing on a paper instead, but sometimes you just gotta focus on what’s really, really important! and that is of course - well no, it’s not the beerparties, the trafficjams or the chickfights, although beerparties are great and chickfights can be funny as hell- no, it the music! so new songs are on their way!
and the new video will be presented within the next month! so be prepared and come back every once in a while to check for news!

yeah, and our new bandroom is a jewelcase! we’re really happy about it, and now it’s only a minute away from one of the best pizzerias in town!

die show am 17.oktober in aarau wurde leider abgesagt. leider kenne ich die genauen gründe dafür nicht, doch das gibt uns mehr zeit, unseren neuen bandraum zu schmücken und songs zu schreiben!

nun, zur zeit passiert eigentlich nicht allzuviel hier. luki schreibt seine prüfungen, sven und ich geniessen zürich und unsere instrumente warten auf den bevorstehenden umzug. wir können es kaum erwarten, endlich in den neuen raum zu gehen um neues material zu schreiben!
eigentlich sollte man in new york leben: alkaline trio (mit the gaslight anthem!, thrice! und rise against - haha, wollte schon schreiben rice against…), ryan adams & the cardinals, tegan & sara, chuck ragan, jesse malin, everlast, nick cave and the bad seeds, against me! & danzig in einem monat!
tja, hier warten zumindest the hellacopters, against me! & snitch auf uns… haha.
genau, leider nicht alle drei zusammen, doch am 17.10. spielen wir in Aarau im KIFF. weiss zwar gar noch nicht, ob diese show jetzt definitv bestätigt wurde, tja, falls nicht werd ich mich schon noch genug früh an euch wenden, geehrte leser!
